Justin Bieber has been recently a target to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Organisation, after last weeks top news for Chris Brown being sued after a gruesome eye injury on one of his music video sets back in 2017.
After their wedding celebration in South Carolina, Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin bought for themselves an early wedding gift, exotic kittens named Sushi and Tuna.
The kittens had their proper welcome to the Bieber’s home, which followed by starting an Instagram account for the new hybrid cats called kittysushiandtuna.
The fame of the account has has been huge, counting up 250K followers in just a few days, but not everyone is a fan as it seems to be.
According to USA Today, the PETA Organisation has Justin Bieber as a target in the past few days.
PETA’s Senior Vice President Lisa Lange has been furious, stating that he could motivate his fans by adopting a cat from local animal shelters, instead of buying hybrid cats and paying huge amount of them during the animal crisis.
She noted that, with his purchase he is fueling the demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis and not caring at all.
However, Justin Bieber had it all after PETA’s ligation targeting him stating that he is uncaring.
He stated that PETA should focus on real problems, such as poaching and animal brutality. Additionally stating that they should worry about the plastic in the ocean and leave his cats alone.
This breed of cats is banned in Georgia, Nebraska, Rhode Island and Hawaii, but for Bieber’s home in the state of California they are allowed.
In fact, it is not clear how much he paid for both of team. Some websites estimate their value from $15K to $20K each.
