Kobe Bryant named third team All-Decade

Kobe Bryant has been named recently as a third team All-Decade. With a stunning 20 year career as an NBA player and being drafted in 1996 by the Lakers, Kobe could became a top-10 NBA player of all-time.

However, after winning the last of his five rings in 2010, Kobe Bryant played just six more seasons. In those years, he battled injuries including a devastating Achilles tear. He is been only playing seasons of 58, six and 35 games. Of all the Kobe Bryant decades, this one isn’t his best.

Bryant won’t be back on the court for the Lakers this season. 2010-2019 career

Kobe didn’t even play the entire decade from 2010 through the present day, and he was essentially a shell of himself after he blew out his Achilles. He played in just six games the following season, 35 in 2014-15 and 66 in his final year. While he accomplished plenty in the early part of the decade, the guys ahead of him played at a higher level throughout that 10-year period — not during their careers as a whole.

Because of NBA TV revealing its all-decade squads from 2010 to 2019, putted Bryant on the third team. With this in mind, he didn’t play the full decade, he was in his decline, with none rings won. I think the third team is actually just the right amount of respect.

But NBA fans were positively furious.
