The Red Devils from Manchester, Manchester United in the 8th circuit of this years Premier League suffered another loss. In fact, this time on guest ground at St. James’ Park from Newcastle losing 1:0.
On Sunday the 6th of October, after City lost on home grounds from Wolves by 0:2 and Traore scoring both of the goals, yet another shock followed.
Manchester United playing their 8th game in the Premier League this season, have ended 12th on the Premier League table by losing 1:0 from Newcastle.
Matthew Longstaff, the 19-year-old midfielder made a fine strike in the 72nd minute of the game and gave Newcastle United a victory they will remember.
His first appearance for Newcastle was in the Carabao Cup in August. In the Sunday game he picked out the bottom corner midway through the second half to settle an encounter and lift Steve Bruce’s side out of the relegation zone.
Like his brother Sean, Matthew Longstaff nearly scored in the first half by shooting an close distance shot which ended onto the woodwork.
Manchester United in fact had only one chance of scoring by Harry Maguire, which didn’t end with a goal.
Manchester United are now trailing badly in the Premier League, with only 2 wins this season so far, against Chelsea 4:0 on the 11th of August and against Leicester on 14th of September 1:0.
However, they had drawn only 3 times this season and lost 2 times against Crystal Palace on the 24th of August 1:2 on home grounds and on the 6th of October on guest grounds against New Castle.
