Rihanna, the famous POP singer has called out President Donald Trump over his response to mass shootings in the States.
El Paso, Texas, is the city were the shooting has occurred, on Sunday 4th of August. However, 20 people had been killed and 26 injured, by the 21-year-old Patrick Crusius, as the social media reported. In addition with El Paso’s shooting, nine people lost their lives in Dayton, Ohio. As a matter of fact, the shooting took place outside a bar in the city’s Oregon District.
With many names from the music world paying their respects to the victims online, Rihanna stood up. As a result, her opinion has now criticized the US President over his reaction to the tragedies.
She had posted a screenshot of Trump’s tweet. As a result of Trump’s describing the attack as “an act of cowardice”, Rihanna wrote: “Um… Donald, you spelt ‘terrorism’ wrong! Your country had 2 terrorist attacks back to back hours apart leaving almost 30 innocent people dead. This, just days after yet another terrorist attack in California, where a terrorist was able to LEGALLY purchase an assault rifle (AK-47) in Vegas, then drive hours to a food festival in Cali leaving 6 more people dead including a young infant baby boy!”
Trump had offered his “heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the great people of Texas” after tweeting that “there are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people.”
Elsewhere, Cardi B posted a picture of the attacker, describing him as “yet ANOTHER homegrown domestic white supremacist terrorist who on his Twitter idolizes Trump”. She added: “AMERICA, WE HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM THAT A WALL WON’T FIX.”
