This weekend sensation was at Manchester City “Etihad” Stadium, as they lost on home grounds from Wolverhampton in the 8th circuit of the Premier League. In the Sunday soccer circuit Arsenal won on home grounds by 1:0 and Chelsea won against Southampton.
Manchester City has conceived their 2nd loss this season. Their first loss was on the 14th of September against Norwich and now they are 8 points lower on the Premier League table than Liverpool.
Manchester City trainer Guardiola was furious after the loss from Wolves on home grounds, admitting that his side struggled to play their usual game as they fell to a 2-0 loss to Wolves.
He stated to BBC Sports that the start of the game was decent, noting on the other hand that his players weren’t at their best from for counter attacks.
In fact, Manchester City had a couple of chances for scoring a goal, but it wasn’t their best day after all.
David Silva in the 68th minute had a wonderful chance of scoring a perfect goal. He shot inside the sixteen meter range, but his shot wasn’t precise and went a little bit higher than expected above the rim.
The man who led Wolves to their 2:0 victory was in fact Traore. His 1st goal was scored in the 80th minute of the game, followed by his 2nd 14 minutes later in the 94th minute.
This big win against City put Wolves on the 11th place on the Premier League table with 10 points, leaving Manchester City on the 2nd place with 16 points, trailing by 8 points from the 1st ranked so far, the club from the eponymous city Liverpool with 24 points.
