Despite his age of 76, Joe Biden the fromer vice president believes he’s still more than capable of taking on Donald Trump, both mentally and physically.
Not to mention that, in an recent interview with Morning Joe, Biden, announced he was entering the presidential race. However, Biden said that if Trump were to ever make a crack about his age or mental state during a debate, he’d simply challenge the president to a pushup contest, on-stage.
“I’d say, ‘C’mon Donald, c’mon man,” he told Mika Brzezinski. “How many pushups do you want to do here, pal? I mean, jokingly. . . . C’mon, run with me, man.”
Trump might only be only three years younger than Biden, but Biden has been taking care of his body. With this in mind, the former VP is know for staying fit, making regular use of the Senate gym, as well as cycling and even running. Not to forget his run along the route of the recent Fourth of July celebrations in Independence, Missouri.
And then, of course, there was the time he spent working (and working out) alongside Barack Obama, including jogs together through the White House to raise awareness for Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ fitness campaign.
Brawling with the incumbent president doesn’t exactly sound like the right way to run a campaign, but we have to admit, we wouldn’t mind seeing the aforementioned pushup contest.
